About the Dentist
Dr. Jack A. Rusch, grew up on a small farm near Plymouth, Indiana. He graduated from Plymouth High School in 1990 and then attended Manchester College where he had the opportunity to play football and baseball. From there, he went to Indiana University School of Dentistry and graduated in 1999. Dr. Rusch did a one year internship with the prison system. He came to New Castle and took over Dr. James Myers' practice in August of 2000. Dr. Rusch plays an active part in his community. He is a member of the New Castle Rotary Club, the Elk's Club, the United Fund and is a board member of the Big Brother Big Sister. He attends church at First Presbyterian in New Castle. He has a wife, Cyndi, and two sons, Cooper and Garrett. Professionally, Dr. Rusch devotes a lot of time to life-long learning, averaging about 100 hours a year in continuing education. He is a member of the East Central Dental Society, Serving as President for 2007-2008, Indiana Dental Society, and the American Dental Association. He also is a member of the American Orthodontic Society and working towards his fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Rusch has been a member of the Indiana National Guard Dental Corp since 1997 and is still active.
